#blackAF TV SERIES REVIEW
The creator of Black-ish (and it’s two spin-offs), Kenya Barris, decided it was time to get in front of the camera himself, by largely reinventing his original hit show, casting himself in the Anthony Anderson role, changing it to mockumentary style, and making it about an exaggerated version of himself and his own family. Our crew (which apparently is more ethnically diverse than the writer’s room for this show) had feelings ranging from very positive, to downright hatred. Check out Bradly, Doggett, Joshua, and Paloma getting into it.
CREATED BY: Kenya Barris
STARRING: Rashida Jones, Kenya Barris, Iman Benson, Genneya Walton, Scarlet Spencer, Justin Claiborne, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Richard Gardenhire Jr., Gil Ozeri, Bumper Robinson, Nia Long, Doug Hall
