BLOODSHOT MOVIE REVIEW
Mr. Big and Gravelly growls his way into what is intended to be another genre franchise for him, but let’s face it: that’s not going to happen. Why? Because they didn’t make Bloodshot in the early 1990s when it would have had a chance. Now, watching this CG/edit heavy PG-13 superhero action film seems almost quaint. Diesel plays a dead soldier who is returned to life by a tech genius who has filled his blood with nanites that can repair any damage instantly, connect to the internet and download any info at faster than Google Fiber speeds, and…work as a cell-phone I guess? Determined to avenge his wife who was killed right before he was, he tears out of the tech building determined to destroy, but all (shocker) is not as it appears. Based on the Valiant Comics title that SOMEONE is reading (but I’ve never met them), Bloodshot is…um…reviewed by Chris, Ben, Alan, and Zach.
DIRECTED BY: David S.F. Wilson
STARRING: Vin Diesel, Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, Guy Pearce, Lamorne Morris, Talulah Riley, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson
