DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN SEASON 2
Jena, Lewayne, and T.C. meet up in the hidden backroom of the One Of Us pub to discuss Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which wastes no time reminding audiences that New York City is no longer merely corrupt. It’s occupied. What began as a simmering rivalry between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk has escalated into a full-scale political war for the soul of the city, with Fisk tightening his grip through the Anti-Vigilante Task Force and turning masked heroes into enemies of the state. Charlie Cox returns with the bruised resolve that defined the Netflix era, while Vincent D’Onofrio continues to make Fisk one of the MCU’s most frightening villains by blending mob boss brutality with authoritarian political power. Deborah Ann Woll returns as Karen Page, reunited with Matt as allies and enemies alike circle around Fisk’s regime. And also, clad once more in her signature leather jacket, Jessica Jones is back! Leaning even harder into political thriller territory, the new season embraces brutal hallway fights, moral exhaustion, institutional corruption, and the street-level grit that continues to make this the finest series the MCU has to offer.

Jena Perry (Screener Squad)
Jena Perry. Aka Luna. Aka Dion. Aka Memori. Aka Dog whisperer. Aka whiskey connoisseur. As you can see, depending on when you met this Oakland, California native, you have experienced a completely different person, each time. After finally deciding on a 13+year career choice as a Videographer and Radio Personality, Jena balances her time between pursuing her Doctorate in Philosophy, providing insightful and funny critiques on films and Television, raising her daughter and dog in Ohio, and constantly fighting off the existential dread that is being a dope black woman in America in the 20th century.

Lewayne White (Screener Squad)
Lewayne’s earliest memories are of watching movies and reading comics, which instilled in him a sense of wonder, a vivid imagination, and unrealistic expectations. It also means he spends a lot of time watching movies, writing scripts for them, and trying to get them made. He lives in the middle of middle America after landing there as a child, and has remained there mainly because he hates packing.
