EMMA MOVIE REVIEW
I hate to have to say, “Remember how much you liked Clueless? Well, this is the original Clueless” but here we are. Emma is the latest (and certainly not the first or last) adaptation of the classic Jane Austin novel of the same name. This time Anna Taylor-Joy takes on the role of the titular young woman who is ‘comfortable’ in her life and turns her boredom into meddlesome matchmaking among her friends. Of course, she’s a bit in denial about what fixing she needs to do to herself. For this review, we got Zach, Taylor, Ben, and Alan. Sit back and let their review convince you to go see a period piece this February.
DIRECTED BY: Autumn de Wilde
STARRING: Anna Taylor-Joy, Johnny Flynn, Bill Nighy, Mia Goth, Miranda Hart, Josh O’Connor, Callum Turner, Rupert Graves, Gemma Whelan, Amber Anderson, Tanya Reynolds, Connor Swindells
