LUCY IN THE SKY MOVIE REVIEW
No, it’s not another film about The Beatles. Lucy (Natalie Portman) is an astronaut just returned from her first Earth orbit and is kinda dazzled by the entire experience. And she’s GOING to go on the next mission. She wants to be VERY clear about that. While it certainly looks like there’s little doubt she’s gonna do it, as she’s definitely the ‘best in class’ type, her marriage to her trusting husband (Dan Stevens) is getting shaky and her new relationship with a fellow astronaut on the side (Jon Hamm) is getting out of hand. Like, WAY out of hand. Based on a crazy true story and directed by TV wunderkind Noah Hawley, this seems like a can’t miss…Uh-oh. Listen to Chris, Beau, and Santiago tell you how it is.
DIRECTED BY: Noah Hawley
STARRING: Natalie Portman, Jon Hamm, Zazie Beetz, Dan Stevens, Colman Domingo, Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Tig Notaro, Jeffrey Donovan
