AFTER THE WEDDING MOVIE REVIEW
Isabel (Michelle Williams) runs an underfunded orphanage in India and when she is told that she has to go to NYC or they can’t get a large endowment, she’s not happy about it. Tearfully she leaves her charges and heads to the big city where she meets her potential giver of largesse, Theresa (Julianne Moore). But it’s a big weekend for Theresa’s family as her daughter is getting married so Isabel gets roped into attending only to discover that the daughter’s father, Oscar (Billy Crudup), is a man who she was once involved with…and the secrets just keep dropping from there. Chris, Frank, Jennifer, and Marcos take on this dramatic, twisty, tearjerker, and come out largely liking it…with some caveats. Listen to their review here.
