ANGEL HAS FALLEN MOVIE REVIEW
Despite all logic and reason, Gerard Butler is back for a third round as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning. This time, Morgan Freeman has become President and always has the you’d-be-pretty-stupid-not-to-trust-him-at-this-point Mike by his side. But then there’s an attempted assassination, the Pres is in a coma, and of course, everyone is like OMG MIKE MUST HAVE DONE IT. Which in any context is stupid. So, not a great starting point but hey, we all could agree that this actually had some surprisingly solid action sequences in it and the lovable Nick Nolte playing Mike’s irascible hobo dad so it wasn’t all bad. Listen to Chris, Jen (who you Giganticast listeners already know), and our new friend Marcos Lira on the review.
DIRECTED BY: Ric Roman Waugh
STARRING: Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Danny Huston, Michael Landes, Tim Blake Nelson, Nick Nolte, Piper Perabo, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Mark Arnold, Chris Browning, Joseph Millson
