All filmed between March and May of 1957, these four episodes show her playing everything from an aspiring writer to a compulsive liar to even a former First Lady. Scott Humphries, author of The Age of Melodramatic Miniseries: When Glamour Ruled on Television: 1980-1995, joins me for this varied assortment of small- screen Bette performances.
