HOLLYWOOD ROYALTY: EP.11 – IT HAD TO BE YOU/ALIAS/MISC. GUEST APPEARANCES
This week on Hollywood Royalty, we tune in to prime time Faye and her two prominent stints on series television in the 90s and 00s. First up, host of Heart/Felt, and co-host of Trash in the Can, Eric Samaniego, and I explore Faye’s short-lived 1993 CBS sitcom It Had to Be You, in which she starred as a big city book publisher who falls in love with a handsome widowed carpenter (Robert Urich) with three boys. After that, fellow One of Us contributor, and critic over at The Movie Buff, Nathan Flynn, and I go back to the early 2000s world of J.J. Abrams’ Alias where Faye enjoys a delicious three-episode season two guest arc as the head of Counterintelligence determined to bring down series stalwart Victor Garber. Finally, I provide a rundown of Faye’s guest appearances in between those two projects in a varied collection of shows, including Road to Avonlea, Touched by an Angel, and Soul Food.
