Next up on Hollywood Royalty: Dunaway After Crawford, we head west to actual Hollywood (and thereabouts) for a collection of movies that sees Faye take on three different types of California women in three vastly different films. First up, Faye plays the boss of a group of high-class ladies of the night in the 1985 TV movie Beverly Hills Madam, then goes full deglam mode as an alcoholic haunting the bars of East L.A. in 1987’s Barfly, before playing a suburban housewife whose husband finds a renewed vigor in their longtime marriage in 1994’s Don Juan DeMarco. Host of the podcast Window Dressing, Madelaine Jane Aubel, joins me as we watch Faye shine in the Golden State.
