Little Nicholas Happy As Can Be Movie Review

Our man in Poland, Maciej Kur (check out his comic books Lil and Put and the soon to be released in America Dollicious as well as the Netflix animated series he wrote Kayko and Kokosh) got to go to the best animation festival in the world, the Annecy Animation Film Festival in France. In this series of Infestation podcasts, he talks with our our Spider-Mike about the films he got to see. First up is the Best in Fest winner, Little Nicholas Happy As Can Be. The film is about a troublemaking boy in Paris in the 60s and his various adventures and is based upon the extremely popular series of children’s books by René Goscinny and Jean-Jacques Sempé. But in a meta-way, it’s also about the creators of the books. Listen to Maciej and Mike give you the scoop.
