CADAVER MOVIE REVIEW
As famine and destruction ravage the post-apocalyptic Norway at the center of “Cadaver”, so does a cinematic famine ravage Netflix, offering hollow meals and empty pleasures to satisfy no more than the time being passed. And just like the lead couple here, who venture into the film’s dinner theater/hotel for a night of gluttony and escapism only to be confronted with something far more sinister, your reviewers for this evening Davey, Rae, Alan, and Alex, have ventured into this film to see if there is any sign of hope at the end of this cavernous tunnel.

Davey Peppers (Staff Writer, Audio and Video Editor, Screener Squad, Eye on the Prize)
Many words have been used to describe Davey Peppers. Words like “Eh” and “Please go outside, just once”. He studied film and advertising at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, because two degrees in fields with terrible job placement is better than one, and currently runs the YouTube channel Game Mechanics. He is easily distracted by shiny things and even the most basic passing mention of a movie being sad. He can be found on Twitter as well as staring at a blank wall wondering what the point is, and if his spending so much time staring at walls is the reason he’s not funny.
Lyrae Anderson (Screener Squad)
You can call me Rae. You can also call me a film lover. I’ll watch it all — small screen; big screen, and everything in between. I have attended and worked for Fantastic Fest and South by Southwest for many years. I married a film geek as well. While we don’t agree on everything, we agree on our love of movies.
Alan Galinsky (Highly Suspect Reviews, Screener Squad, Deliberations of Doom)
Born and raised in Texas, Alan Galinsky is a lifetime movie fan. As a youth, he would rent multiple movies every weekend and go to the theater for the latest releases, and that pace has remained steady. When Alan isn’t watching movies, you can find him talking about movies. When he’s not talking about movies, you can find him playing music in the band Delicate Boys.
Alex Sullivan (Screener Squad)
This Alex. He Shy.
Fascinated by the countless worlds that can be visited by simply pressing “Play”, Alex finds himself awash in an endless stream of titles. Whenever a particularly strange title strikes his fancy, he becomes an enamored prophet of this new idea, spreading its good word to whomever will listen. Alex constantly works to improve his fluency in the universal language of cinema. Underneath his mellow facade, he’s a chihuahua, shaking with excitement to be a part of such a wonderfully diverse and welcoming community of voices that share his enthusiasm.
