THE ARTIST’S WIFE MOVIE REVIEW
What does one do when their significant other is in the mist of losing their memories? That and more is examined in “The Artist’s Wife”, directed and co-written by Tom Dolby (“Last Weekend”). The film follows renowned artist Richard (Bruce Dern) as he develops early onset dementia and is aided by fellow artist and his wife Claire (Lena Olin), who tries to tie together long broken bonds, hide his illness from the art community, and decide whether to step out of his shadow that she has long stood in and pursue her own art. Our esteemed critics of Mindy, Jordan, and Bradley examine this exquisite piece and discuss its worthiness.
