LAST CALL MOVIE REVIEW
Well this one’s hard to make funny. This is the story of a suicidal man who thinks he’s calling a helpline only to accidentally call a career center and speak with the young woman working the night shift as a janitor there. Last Call’s biggest claim to fame is its use of 2 split-screen single takes that never cut over the course of the film. Does this aesthetic risk help or hurt the harrowing story the movie’s trying to tell? Find out when our reviewers Davey, Adrian, Lewayne, and Dogget close out their tabs for “Last Call”!
