THE PALE DOOR MOVIE REVIEW
From RLJE Films and Shudder comes this little slice of weird western co-written by Joe Lansdale’s son Keith, and filled with an array of likable character actors. It’s cowboys vs witches in an old west showdown as a gang of outlaws find themselves with, instead of the cash bounty they were expecting from a train job, a young woman who was chained up inside a trunk. She leads them to get help for their injured to her hometown, a small group of buildings mysteriously in the middle of nowhere populated entirely by women. And, things are not what they seem. Well, to the cowboys, anyway. Chris, Adrian, Lewayne, and Spider-Mike take a look inside this mixed genre horror film and let you know if it’s a crack shot or the town drunk.
