TESLA MOVIE REVIEW
Tesla was more than just a forgettable glam metal band from the 80s. I mean, no the band wasn’t, but the guy whose name they stole, Nikola Tesla, indeed lived a fascinating and very American story. An immigrant who came here filled with big plans and the genius to back them up, he was all but shut down by the rich industrialist, Thomas Edison, only to come back at him with his own alternate plans and alternating current. This take on his story stars Ethan Hawke as Tesla and Kyle MacLachlan as Edison and chooses a…interesting path to get to where it’s going.
