I’LL BE GONE IN THE DARK MINISERIES REVIEW
You guys have no idea how hard it is to be funny when you’re reviewing something like this. Adapted from the late Michelle McNamara’s book, the HBO documentary miniseries “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark” recently finished, detailing McNamara’s life and her obsession with solving the case of the Golden State Killer in California in the 1970s and 80s. Citizen reviewers Rose, Bradly, Davey, and Trevor take on the tale of these citizen detectives, discussing loss, justice, grief, and why this program stands heads and tails above almost every other piece of true crime storytelling.
