WARRIOR NUN TV SERIES REVIEW
In the time of the Crusades, a warrior named Areala was granted the gift of the halo of the angel, Adriel, to continue her righteous campaign for God. This halo has been passed down for generations in the very body of the chosen, leader of the Order of the Cruciform Sword, a group of warrior nuns who continue the good fight against evil. However, after a devastating mission, Adriel’s halo is put into the back of Ava Silva (Alba Baptista), a quadriplegic and recent corpse. Brought back to life, Ava now has to navigate a world where demons are real, she can now walk (among many other impossible things), and some boys are just too cute to ignore. Based on the manga-styled comic book series, “Warrior Nun Areala,” Mindy, Jena, and Mark discuss whether this new supernatural drama is Heaven-sent, or is just a tired attempt to clone “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. May God be with you in this review. (And also with you.)
