THE SUNLIT NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW
Hey kids! Who wants to see Jenny Slate travel to Norway to paint an old barn yellow? That’s right, probably not you or anyone you know. This begs the question: Why would Frank, Hunter, Lewayne, and Adrian all volunteer to take on the film “The Sunlit Night”? The reasons may vary but still, we review this story of a fledgling New York art student (Slate) who travels to the other side of the world to take on the barn-yellowing assignment in the hopes of finding meaning, escape and some kind of promise for her future. Along the way, she meets Zach Galifianakis who is a wannabe Viking (but who hails from Cincinnati) and Gillian Anderson as a widow sporting a questionable Russian accent. Check out our review of one of the saddest movies ever made about an artist’s struggle.
