THE HIGH NOTE MOVIE REVIEW
What does it take to make it in the music industry? What skills do you have to have? Is it all about whom you know? Maggie (Dakota Johnson) is hoping that that last part is true. She is the personal assistant to superstar singer Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross). Grace has a high amount of talent as well as an ego. And, as overworked as she is, Maggie hopes to one day work as a music producer herself. Soon, Grace’s manager gives her an opportunity that could change her and Maggie’s life for good. Does this film hit the titular high note, or does it stumble off-key? Let Adrian, Ben, Davey, and Max let you know.
