HAMILTON MOVIE (?) REVIEW
From the Broadway stage to digital screens worldwide, Disney Plus presents Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hip-hop musical, Hamilton. The musical cleaned up at the Tonys, gathered all the Grammys, and even pulled in a Pulitzer for drama. The story details Alexander Hamilton’s (Lin Manuel Miranda) revolutionary war days with George Washington (Chris Jackson), his journey of love with spouse Eliza (Phillipa Soo), and endearing friendship with sister-in-law Angelica (Tony-winner Renée Elise Goldsberry). Alex matches wits with Thomas Jefferson (Tony-winner Daveed Diggs) in this beloved musical all narrated by his good friend, but better enemy, Aaron Burr (Leslie Odom Jr.). Come and see the musical phenomenon everybody and their grandma hasn’t stopped talking about since 2015. Or, listen to Bradly, Adrian, Rose, Hunter, and Harmoni rave about it on this here review.
