Z MOVIE REVIEW
Why is it every time I see in a movie or show some kid with an imaginary friend, everyone’s like, “awwww, how cute”. Cute. When is it ever cute? It’s f*&king terrifying is what it is. Even, say, Drop Dead Fred…that dude was pure chaos. Evil incarnate. So when the kid in Shudder’s new original film Z suddenly gets one and the parents don’t immediately call Ghostbusters, I battened down the hatches for a film that was going to freak me out. And this imaginary friend? As you might expect, not so imaginary. And maybe not as interested in the kid, per se, as one might have been led to believe. What you’re going to want to do here, in prep for if this situation happens in your own life if nothing else, is to listen to Chris, Lewayne, and Adrian give a review of this film. Not only will you be more prepared for THE HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE THAT IS HAVING YOUR CHILD TALK TO INVISIBLE ENTITIES but you’ll get a heads-up on a pretty good horror movie.
