BAD EDUCATION MOVIE REVIEW
One of the biggest school embezzlement scandals in American history is dramatized in HBO’s new movie Bad Education. Based on a New York magazine article, the story follows the Roslyn High School scandal as superintendent Frank Tassone (Hugh Jackman) discovers that his assistant superintendent Pamela Gluckin (Alison Janney) has been embezzling money from the school’s budget for her own expenses. Frank hopes to sweeps this under the rug to preserve the school’s reputation, but as journalists begin investigating the truth, it becomes clear that Frank may be more complicit than he claims. Paloma, Brad, and Davey have come together to render a verdict on whether this movie does justice to the real-life scandal or if it’s guilty of stretching the truth too much.
