SWALLOW MOVIE REVIEW
Haley Bennett plays Hunter, a housewife to a husband who loves her but in a kept woman sort of way. With little to no autonomy of her own, she seeks something…and unfortunately, that ends up being a gradually increasing compulsion to swallow inedible objects. When she discovers she is pregnant, the compulsion only becomes more frequent and more dangerous. Chris, Mindy, Marco, and Tessa take on this character piece that seems difficult to comfortably fit into a genre qualification. Suffice it to say, they had a lot of complicated thoughts about the film.
