VIVARIUM MOVIE REVIEW
A cute young couple, Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots, are looking to buy a house. A very odd real estate agent insists they follow him out to a planned community called Yonder. Everything is the same. Imagine a Tim Burton suburbia but with no color or design changes between homes. And then the agent disappears. And they can’t find their way out. Argh. Boxes are dropped off regularly in the night by mysterious and never-seen personages filled with sundries and food and one day…with a baby. A note informs them to “Raise the child and be released”. And THEN this movie starts to get REALLY weird. There’s a lot to ponder in Vivarium (although not a lot actually happens, per se) and our critics have multiple different viewpoints on it. Listen to Chris, Ben, Frank, and Mindy sort it out.
