SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL MOVIE REVIEW
Justin and Mindy decide to watch one of the most popular things on Netflix from the last week to see what all the noise is about. Directed by Peter Berg (Deepwater Horizon) and loosely based on an entry on the old Spenser novels, the story follows our titular character (Mark Wahlberg) as he finishes a five-year stint in prison. While in the process of transitioning to a new job and dealing with his new roommate Hawk (Winston Duke), the police officer he assaulted that led to his jail time is murdered. Of course, he immediately sees something fishy with the timing and decides to take it upon himself to solve the case despite no longer being a cop. Is this movie a case worth following or is it a wild goose chase?
