THE WAY BACK MOVIE REVIEW
Ben Affleck plays a drinking-in-the-shower level alcoholic who finds a temporary peace from his demons and his drinking when he is asked to return to his old Catholic High School to coach the basketball team that once, long ago, he was the shining star of. How long can he keep up clean living? Will the boys inspire him to be a better man the way he inspires them to be better players? Haven’t we seen this film several times already? Something about Batman? Sigh. Well, Chris, Frank, Ben, Spider-Mike, and JC are here to take a 3 point shot at the review.
