Screener Squad: Incitement

Incitement Movie Review

A dark, lesser-known bit of history is brought to life through Israel’s Best International Feature submission, Incitement. Set in 1995, the film follows Israeli law student Yigal Amir (Yehuda Nahari Halevi) in the year leading up to his assassination of Israel’s prime minister Yitzhak Rabin. What were his motives? What could drive a man with a promising future and staunch religious upbringing to murder? Justin hears out Paloma and Julien’s case discussing this tense, dark, but compelling look at a man going insane.
