The Fast and Furious franchise is trying a new genre out for a test drive: animated children’s television. Spy Racers focuses on the adventures of Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) younger cousin Tony (Tyler Posey). Following in his cousin’s footsteps, Tony is recruited by a government agency and joins a team to stop the criminal organization SH1FT3R from taking over the world. Can the franchise naturally expand to a new audience or will this find them stuck with a flat? Brad and Nathan give you the basics on what works and what doesn’t in this Netflix series.
