THE RHYTHM SECTION MOVIE REVIEW
The producers of the Bond franchise bring you this moody spy thriller based on the first book in the Stephanie Patrick series by author Mark Burnell. Blake Lively is Stephanie, a rock-bottom junkie prostitute who finds a new reason to go on when she discovers that the plane crash that killed her parents was caused by a terrorist. Determined to get retribution (but not terribly capable of it) she stumbles her attempt but is taken under the wing of a former MI6 agent (Jude Law) to train to become an international jet-setting, many-wig wearing, bad-ass. Sort of. Beau, Ben, and Alan looked pretty askance at this one. You have to listen to their review to get why.
DIRECTED BY: Reed Morano
STARRING: Blake Lively, Jude Law, Sterling K. Brown, Max Casella, Daniel Mays, Geoff Bell, Richard Brake, Raza Jaffrey, Tawfeek Barhom
