SPIES IN DISGUISE MOVIE REVIEW
Will Smith voices, well, Will Smith (or at least how I believe he sees himself). He’s Lance Sterling, a super-spy who everyone falls down on their knees to worship and point out how attractive, funny, and talented he is. One day a super-villain manages to turn his own spy company against him and he is forced to look for outside help. That help can only come from one place: the ‘tech gadget’ guy he just got fired. Hey, but Walter (Tom Holland) doesn’t hold a grudge and is thrilled to see him…less thrilled when he accidentally drinks his experimental ‘polyjuice’ and turns into a pigeon. Well, super-villains aren’t going to stop themselves and the two are forced to team up while Walter tries to invent a cure for his avian friend. Got all that? Can I let out a deep sigh now? I wanted less to see this actual movie than to be a fly on the wall at the pitch meeting for it. Regardless, while Chris (me) and Ben were less than thrilled with the film, Spider-Mike dug it (at least, more than they did). Listen to their review here.
