LITTLE WOMEN MOVIE REVIEW
Louisa May Alcott’s legendary (and formative for many of us) 19th century novel about the lives of the four March sisters sees its seventh cinematic adaptation in the capable hands of Greta Gerwig, who turned many heads in 2017 with her directorial debut Lady Bird. With young actresses leading the cast like Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, and Florence Pugh, there’s no way this was going to get passed over. Add in legends like Laura Dern, and Meryl Streep, and you have a Christmas day release that eyes are decidedly on. Or, one would hope, more so than on Cats. But, does it live up to the promise of the director and cast? Listen to Chris, Sarah Jane, Jennifer, and Drew dive into this world.
DIRECTED BY: Greta Gerwig
STARRING: Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, James Norton, Louis Garrel, Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell, Abby Quinn
