THE KING MOVIE REVIEW
William Shakespeare’s Henry IV and Henry V are mashed together into one with this Netflix film The King. The story follows the rise of Henry V (Timothee Chalamet) following the death of Henry IV (Ben Mendelsohn). After ascending to the throne and foiling an assassin sent by the French, Henry makes plans to launch a retaliation that would lead to the infamous Battle of Agincourt. Netflix is making a big push for Oscars with their end of the year releases, but their track record for movies is still more miss than hit. Can this break the trend? Well…Bradly and Justin have some opinions on that…
