LOW TIDE MOVIE REVIEW
What happens when you give a bag of priceless gold doubloons to a group of delinquent teenagers? This is the question at the heart of the movie Low Tide. Set at the Jersey shore during the late 80’s/early 90’s, we follow a group of kids as they spend their summer partying, hitting on girls, and occasionally robbing houses. It’s during one of these robberies, however, that a couple of them find a bag full of gold doubloons. However, they can’t simply sell this all at once or let some of their less trustworthy friends know what they found. So they bury the gold in hopes to sell it piece by piece over time. Can they keep this up for long before someone comes sniffing around though? Justin, Allen, and Julien had a few thoughts on how the end product came together, though you’d be surprised how much they agree despite their wildly contentious opinions. Listen to hear who makes the most compelling argument and decide for yourself if this is truly a pirate movie or not!
