Screener Squad: Human Lost

Human Lost Movie Review

HUMAN LOST MOVIE REVIEW

The future looks rough, but the Screener Squad will push forward by reviewing Funimation’s other major release this week, Human Lost. The story takes place in Tokyo 2036, which is a cyberpunk wasteland full of wires and abysmal wi-fi. However, a powerful nanomachine system known as S.H.E.L.L. allows humans to live exceedingly long lives free of disease at the cost of free will. Anyone who disconnects from the system becomes ‘lost’ and malformed as they deal with a world falling apart around them. We eventually meet our lead character Yozo Oba who discovers that he has special powers that could turn the tide on the world’s destruction. And if this plot seems kind of vague or confusing, well…it kind of is. Nevertheless, Brad and Daniel ‘Dogget’ still have plenty to say about this movie about whether it still won them over or not.
