ONE CUT OF THE DEAD MOVIE REVIEW (SPOILERS AFTER 15:44)
You’ve heard the hype. You’ve hopefully heard our initial review from its festival run. Now Shudder is distributing the Japanese hit One Cut of the Dead for limited theatrical screening before its streaming release. This is going to be a hard movie to review because so much of the story hinges upon not knowing the directions it goes. What we will say is that it initially starts with a film crew working on a zombie movie, which goes off the rails when actual zombies appear to ruin their day. Other than that, Justin, Nick, Ben, and Max have decided that this will be a spoiler-filled review after about the ten-minute mark. So we strongly encourage you to go watch the movie and then come back to hear our full thoughts on why we feel this is truly as great as everyone says it is.
