BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON MOVIE REVIEW
Jillian Bell plays Brittany, a 28-year-old party girl with issues. She’s not happy with her addictions. She’s not happy with her Instagram-queen friends. She’s not happy with her dead-end job and the tiny finances it affords her. After a visit to her doctor, she learns that getting ready to round the hill of the 30 means maybe changing the irresponsible way she’s been living her life. With deep reluctance and some misplaced ire at her health-conscious upstairs neighbor, she decides to try to take up running. In any other film, Brittany would find herself and be happy and that would be it. But Brittany is a character who is all too real. And relatable. And yet, still very funny. Chris, Marco, and Ben take a look at this Sundance smash and saw what might be the sleeper hit of the year. Assuming we can get you folks to go see it. Listen to their review here.
