Nicholas Hoult plays famed writer J.D. Salinger in this biopic that features Kevin Spacey as his mentor, Zoey Deutch as his young love, Sarah Paulson as his loyal agent, Victor Garber as his dismissive father, and Dr Venture as…I don’t know, he’s in there somewhere. Ok, so full admission: I (Chris) didn’t see this one but I DID send George, Ian, and Mike and they came back with some different but also not that different reviews. I act as a moderator (which is good because I briefly thought Mike and George were gonna throw down) for this review which ended up being a lot of fun.
