COASTAL ELITES MOVIE REVIEW
We’re only just recently starting to get narrative entertainment released that oh-so specifically deals with the current situation we’re all in: the pandemic, isolation, a government and its ‘true believers’ run amok. HBO and director Jay Roach has taken the task of telling some (fictional) stories delivered in a stage theater style, one actor in a monologue, speaking to an invisible and silent responder that is the camera. Five different tales from five different actors all with a situation that relates very specifically to the issues that we’re all dealing with. But is it entertainment? A warning? And who is it for? These are the questions that Chris, Trevor, and Marco grapple with as they give their review.
