THE SHADOW OF VIOLENCE MOVIE REVIEW

What do you do when you’ve killed a man? Well if you are a young boxer with a child and an ex you go work for the Irish mafia. At least that’s what ‘Arm’ played wonderfully by Cosmo Jarvis does. He is pretty happy with the work, for a while, until things go horribly wrong. First, his ex and child are leaving and need money. Then a party goes very very wrong and he is asked to do something heinous to prove his loyalty to the gang. Arm has to decide whether he is willing to violate his morals and how far he is willing to go to support his family. As everything starts to violently unravel, Nick Rowland directing his first feature manages to make an intimate and artful movie that made some of our reviewers fall in love. Come listen to Aaron, Santi, and Adrian break down if this first time effort is deserving of your attention.
