WESTWORLD SEASON 3 SERIES REVIEW

HBO’s highest-profile (ie: budgeted) show returns for a third season and the hosts have gone mad! Or, I rather, they’re pretty mad. HOW MAD ARE THEY? Well, that’s kinda the point of this season to figure out as Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Maeve (Thandie Newton) go head-to-head (eventually) either for or against the show’s latest scheming tech-trillionaire, Serac (Vincent Cassel). Humanity’s future is at stake and it all comes down to a giant AI that plots a course for us all and a single human (Aaron Paul) who really has no idea what’s going on. Our crew (Jen, Rob, Chris, Danny, Jena) definitely did not agree on this one. Our discussion ranges from straight-up review to analyzing the validity of the existential questions the show traffics in. Better suit up, here we go…
