Highly Suspect Reviews: The Call of the Wild

The Call of the Wild Movie Review

THE CALL OF THE WILD MOVIE REVIEW

In what I believe is the 7th filmed adaptation of Jack London’s classic tale (if you count the Snoopy animated version), Hollywood brings us this survival tale with a still-dedicated to his craft Harrison Ford and a suspect choice of a CG animated dog named Buck. Buck is first pampered, then abused, eventually coming to be with the grizzled and grief-stricken Ford (who somehow seems to know about Buck’s earlier experiences). What you get is a film that’s not as bad as you’d imagine at all, but isn’t exactly a must-see either. Listen to Frank, Ben, and Mindy give their review.
