TERMINATOR: DARK FATE MOVIE REVIEW

The Terminator franchise tries to revive itself once again with Terminator: Dark Fate. Resetting the continuity post-Terminator 2: Judgment Day for the third time, the story follows a new plot by the machines to send another Terminator, the Rev-9 (Diego Luna), back to the past. The target this time, however, is a young girl named Dani (Natalia Reyes), whose story is tied to John and Sarah Connor. The Resistance then sends a super-soldier named Grace (Mackenzie Davis), whose own existence is dependent on keeping Dani alive. This eventually requires her to join forces with Sarah Connor and an aging T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to fight the Rev-9 and save the future.

Due to an unforeseen situation involving critic screenings, the people at Highly Suspect Reviews did not get a chance to see this movie before its release. Thankfully, the Screener Squad was deployed to watch and review this movie in their stead. So join Allen, Julien, Max, and Daniel ‘Dogget’ as they discuss whether Dark Fate recaptured the spark of the first two movies or if its disappointing opening weekend box-office is a sign of a much darker fate to come
