Highly Suspect Reviews: Doctor Strange

I know, I’m breaking my own rule reviewing a movie written by our friend Cargill, but good lord, IT’S DOCTOR STRANGE! A MAN ONLY HAS SO MUCH STRENGTH! Not that Cargill has anything to worry about because this movie cast a spell on JC, Chris, Richard, and Harris. Well, mostly. There may be some amount of squabbling but you’ll have to listen for yourself to find out.

Born in the wilds of northern Virginia, in 1992 Chris managed to put all of his survival skills to use and barely escaped with his life to Austin Texas, where ever since he’s dabbled in everything from plumber’s assistant to sandwich maker, from band to bar management. An opportunity to see theatrical release films for free, by becoming a critic on a local public access show called “The Reel Deal”, turned into a full time job when Chris and his friends decided to take it to the internet. They built the site Spill.com, adding multiple podcasts and animated features, to no small amount of success. During this time, a fortuitous friendship sprung up between Chris and young Brian Salisbury, who was also a local film critic, and they merged their forces of will, and their laundry list of ideas for shows, to eventually build this paradise you see before you.

Sorry, it was versus DS and no one else was available.

Understood. I hear it’s great, though. Might do a double feature of that and DS this weekend.

These are the Infinity Stones so far.

Mind (Loki’s staff) yellow – Avengers
Reality (The Aether) red – Thor: Dark World
Power (The Orb) purple – Guardians of Galaxy
Time (Eye of Agamotto) green – Doctor Strange

    Soul (orange?) is still missing

    “Doctor Strange: Electroplasmic Boogaloo”

After watching I want to watch this again in 3D. The movie was pretty much a legal psychedelic trip.

Great review! Good to have Harris and Richard back 🙂

So what you’re saying is that this movie is “Stranger” than fiction.

Ok, I’m confuse. But Docotr Strange is mentioned in “Captian America : The Winter soildier” as somebody that is treat to Hydra… I’m confuse about the time line now 🙁
