Infestation: Horror Hotel Film Festival and the Indie Gathering

Why do we love film festivals so much? The crazy activities, the below the radar movies, and the large quantities of stuff to buy are all a part of the charm, but my favorite aspect is talking to people, especially the artists. The creators can have so many interesting things to say and that’s where this show comes from.

In the summer of 2017, I enlisted a professional photographer named Jon Thomas and an editor/graphic designer Billy Bolt to help me capture the experience of the Horror Hotel Film Festival and the Indie Gathering Film Festival. When I wasn’t watching movies or sitting in on lectures, I interviewed a bunch of filmmakers and this show is a few of those. I wish I could have posted them all but alas it would be really freakin’ long. So, sit back, relax and enjoy the interviews of the various inspirational and interesting filmmakers.

If you guys like what you hear then check out the next Horror Hotel Film Festival on May 31st – June 3rd, (2018) at Venue South at the Days Inn & Suites, 4742 Brecksville Road Richfield OH 44286. The next Indie Gathering Film Festival will be from Aug. 9th – 12th (2018) and will take place at the same venue.
