In this unwieldily titled sequel, our heroes find out that the corporation W.C.K.D. (seriously, who gives their company the acronym ‘wicked’?) are even more nefarious than they thought, as nothing as is it seems, the post-apocalypse is full of Last of Us zombies, and sadly, that it looks like Gus from Breaking Bad needs to start getting better offers than half-assed YA sequels. Check out Jenny and Chris on the review.

Born in the wilds of northern Virginia, in 1992 Chris managed to put all of his survival skills to use and barely escaped with his life to Austin Texas, where ever since he’s dabbled in everything from plumber’s assistant to sandwich maker, from band to bar management. An opportunity to see theatrical release films for free, by becoming a critic on a local public access show called “The Reel Deal”, turned into a full time job when Chris and his friends decided to take it to the internet. They built the site Spill.com, adding multiple podcasts and animated features, to no small amount of success. During this time, a fortuitous friendship sprung up between Chris and young Brian Salisbury, who was also a local film critic, and they merged their forces of will, and their laundry list of ideas for shows, to eventually build this paradise you see before you.

Hey Chris, iZombie is a tv show.

    • Rock-X

Also Chris, there is no film called “Operation of God” nor is there a “Armour Condor” film; you got your movie titles mixed up.

      • Chris Cox

Wait, what is going on here? I didn’t mention either one of these things. Someone putting you guys up to this?

        • Rock-X

          1. You DID mention iZombie being a film when it was in fact a television series as the Batman Fan points to.
          2. You DID call the film which Jackie Chan almost died in “Operation of God” in the “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” review at 4:42-4:43.
          3. I said in the comments of said review that you may have been “mistaken” in remembering what the movie was called: I even got a like from the Batman Fan for using Wonka’s “Strike That, Reverse It” joke to point it out.
Lastly: I wish I could say that Brian Salisbury or even Jason Murphy “put us up to this”, but… I’d be lying. We (the Batman Fan & I) were simply trying to correct you in a civil and polite manner.

          • Chris Cox

Ok, I don’t remember but I take your word for it on the I,zombie. But why would you correct me here on something from the Rogue Nation review? That’s neither civil or polite, it’s going, “Yeah, see, you’re an idiot all the time”.

          • Rock-X

I pointed out the mistake on the Rogue Nation comment section, but the lack of response tells me you either didn’t see the comments or that you didn’t acknowledge the mistake, which is why I brought it up again here. Also, if I was to have point out everyone’s mistake in other reviews, I would’ve spent all the days of Spill correcting Co-host every time he misquoted his favorite Robocop line, but I didn’t.

    • Chris Cox

Yes, and? I don’t remember even mentioning it.

      • dark knight fan

You say it was a movie?

        • Chris Cox

AH, my mistake wasn’t thinking I, Zombie was a movie but mis-stating the title of the Will Smith film, “I Am Legend”. Happens sometimes when you have to talk fast.

          • dark knight fan

Yeah, I know what you talking about.

ugh, god! I hate when they use all cgi creatures. It’s like in Renny Harlin’s Devil’s Pass where there’s an entire sequence filmed with night vision and all you see are corridors and the monsters chasing you and it looks staight out of a video game it’s embarrassing (though not so surprising from Renny Harlin i guess)… When will they learn? When will the world wake up and open it’s eyes?
